Hi there! I'm Beth, owner of Moonstone Beauty Lounge. I received my education and worked in Southern California for half of my career and worked in Kona, Hawaii for 5 years. Now, I am very happy to call Boulder, MT home! I feel very lucky to have lived in so many beautiful places.
I've been in the industry for almost 15 years now and opening my own space feels like the natural next step in my journey. I'm very excited to be a business owner in Helena and share in contributing to the community! The women of Helena deserve a place to come and feel seen and heard.
Because I've worked in different climates with varied hair textures and colors, I feel confident in whatever your needs may be. The most important part of our time together is our consultation. I like to take my time to make sure we are on the same page and fully discuss all the nuances of your hair and what is possible to achieve. After we have made sure our appointment together will be successful, I hope to create a space for you to relax and unwind. My goal is that you leave feeling your absolute best.
My specialty is blonding, creative color and well balanced cuts. Traditional hand painted balayage is something I truly love and have trained in. Balayage will give you amazing blends and the ease of low maintenance hair that grows out naturally. I also enjoy creating textured modern cuts that have movement and softness customized to your specific hair type, including curly cuts.
When I'm not in the salon, I enjoy spending time at home with my husband and kitties or traveling to our favorite places!

Hey girl! I am Noelle, a Master Esthetician at Moonstone Beauty Lounge. I recently graduated from the Aveda Institute in Provo, Utah. I was born and raised in western Montana and am so excited to be back here, doing what I love most! Hi! My name is Darcie Crans, I’m a hairdresser at heart! In 2008, I attended the Academy of Cosmetology in Bozeman & have worked behind the chair for 15 years. I am excited to be working at the Moonstone Beauty Lounge in Helena along side the owner, Beth Kush who I will draw inspiration from! Like me, she takes pride in her customers experience, holding a special place for making the client in our chair feel seen & heard. The Moonstone Beauty Lounge carries Davines, a sustainable product & color line. I hold great importance in using quality made products with ethically sourced materials, followed by an aftercare product line that will prolong your color, & actually improve the health of your hair! I love the Davines product line, not only for its ethics, wonderful scent & ingredients, but simply because it works!
In 2015, while attending my 1st Davines color class, I decided to become an educator. I signed up & began to attend train the trainers in the Pacific Northwest, also studying online courses with my Davines mentor, Ezra Black. I attended Nationwide trainings with Davines trainers from all over the United States, growing my Davines community for color questions & referrals when clients relocate.
After gaining my certificates of training, I then started teaching the Davines' color line, hands on color techniques & product knowledge to other hairdressers. I also had the opportunity to travel to & tour the Davines Village in Parma Italy, & I felt as though I was part of the family owned business. Also, while there, I attended the World Wide Hair Tour with some of the greatest hairdressers from all across the globe!
In 2017, I was recommended by the British Hairdressing team Allilon, to train for the Davines cutting team. The goal of the team was to have a consistent method & language while delivering cutting education. I was able to travel & learn their advanced cutting techniques. For part of team training, I was given a strict regimen to work everyday on a manequin, practicing the mapping, cutting, & finishing techniques of haircutting. Doing live videos of the process, whilst teaching it. This training gave me a deep understanding of shapes & various techniques of cutting hair.
I specialize in color & cutting, all hair types- it is my passion & craft. My goal for your hair appointment is to listen, visualize & then create! I will draw from my many years of education & professionalism to make sure you are feeling like a brand new woman when you walk out the door! It's always been important to me to make you feel as comfortable as possible in my chair, & of course to send you out the door with your hair goals met, with beautiful healthy hair. I am absolutely invested in every woman that sits in my chair, listening & achieving your personal hair vision. I love what I do & do what I love!
